Our History
SouthPoint Capital Group was founded by our CEO Larry Kite in 2007 originally as RiverSouth Properties, Inc. to acquire, renovate and sell residential properties as well as provide quality rental homes for the community. The name was changed to SouthPoint Capital Group and subsidiaries were formed in order to diversify into brokerage services and private capital investments. SouthPoint Capital Group continues today with a focus on the real estate sector while continuing to diversify into other sectors with business ventures in the e-commerce and automotive industries.
About Our CEO
Larry Kite, founder and CEO, began his career as a civil engineer and worked 25 years in the transportation industry. He began this business due to a passion for real estate and improving communities and now as President and CEO or SouthPoint Capital Group, Inc. Larry graduated from Auburn University with a degree in civil engineering and currently holds a professional engineering and surveying license and home builder license.
